Our annual Easter Trail event takes place this Bank Holiday Easter Monday from 11am – 1pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the activities on the day and meet the Easter Bunny! There will be a special appearance by the alpacas from Wild Alpaca Way, face painting, arts and crafts, yoga, lawn games, entertainment with the Carndonagh Brass Band and refreshments will be for sale in the community gardens training room. Tickets are €10 per family (2 adults, 3 children) each additional person is €2.

Easter Event 2023
Our Easter event was held on Easter Monday. We decided that we needed a compere to announce the various events that were happening on the hill and we asked an Ukrainian lady who was a professional host in Ukraine to do it at our event. We had an easter hunt trail where children had to find the answer to various clues around the park. Every child that finished the trail was rewarded with a chocolate Easter egg.
We had the Alpacas from Wild Alpaca Way in an enclosure where people could meet and greet them and have their photographs taken with the animals. A variety of lawn games were led by PE teachers including a Penalty Shoot Out, a Bean Bag throwing game and a Throw the Ring Game. We had face painting and Easter themed rock art. We also provided refreshments from the training room and arranged for an ice cream van to attend. The Easter Bunny was in attendance who was a big hit with all the families. We also had two of the Ukrainian community there who were selling their crafts and also had some beautiful Rock art on display. We had about 500 people in attendance at the Easter event and there was a real buzz in the atmosphere.
